Marites Penano
Marites Penano has worked as an educator in various public schools for 25 years, 15 years in the Philippines and 10 years in Canada. She graduated from Naga College Foundation in 1990 with the degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) and Master of Arts in Education, Administration and Supervision in 2001 from Partido College, Goa, Camarines Sur. Marites migrated to Canada together with her family in 2007. She worked at the Canada Revenue Agency for five years as an Assessment Processing Clerk (2010-2015). True to the belief that “Once a teacher, always a teacher,” she went back to the teaching profession in 2015 at Arthur E. Wright Community School handling early years multi-grade classes. During her free time, she likes to read books or watch K-dramas.
